Live-Edge River Table
Let the wood lead
A natural slab does not begin with straight lines and identical edges. This table keeps the wood’s changing outline visible and uses blue epoxy to fill natural voids in a branching river through the grain.
- Materials
- Live-edge slab, blue epoxy and hairpin legs
The character is already in the material
An overhead view reveals the full outline. Closer views show the grain and the way the blue line narrows and branches through it. The detail belongs to this particular piece of wood.
Give the surface a place to live
Thick black hairpin legs support the finished top without competing with it. The result is a useful table whose surface remains the main event.
