A gift made for one person

A customer wanted a special gift for his wife: something handbuilt, local and worth keeping. SHB made this monogrammed noodle board from highly figured ambrosia maple, with dark handles and a leafy wreath around the initial. The changing grain is as much a part of the piece as the engraving.
