Pruitt came to SHB with a passion for cars and gave the shop creative freedom. His own Monte Carlo and trap time became the starting point for a barrel cap built around that story.

Two scenes, one personal piece
One side brings in his Monte Carlo and the drag-strip timing board. The other opens into a 1950s cruiser scene with an iconic Chevy Bel Air, a diner and gas pumps. Route 66 and the Pruitt Drive sign connect the two.
Details that belong to the owner
The cars and numbers carry the meaning. The familiar round barrel cap gives the design a place to live, with the grain and dark engraving visible throughout.
He trusted SHB to turn his interests into a design of its own. He was blown away by the finished piece.
